● Avobenzone: A chemical UV filter that provides excellent absorption across the entire UVA spectrum (UVA1 and UVA2), making it crucial for broad-spectrum anti-aging protection.
● Octocrylene: A chemical UV filter that primarily absorbs UVB rays. It also helps stabilize Avobenzone, boosting its effectiveness and longevity on the skin.
● Homosalate: A chemical UV filter that acts mainly as a UVB absorber. It also functions as a good solvent for other sunscreen actives.
● Octisalate (Ethylhexyl Salicylate): A chemical UV filter that is primarily a UVB absorber. It is also used as a mild oil-based emollient and solvent.
● Cetearyl Alcohol: A fatty alcohol that acts as an emulsifier and thickening agent, giving the product its creamy texture and helping to stabilize the oil and water components.
● Dicetyl Phosphate and Ceteth-10 Phosphate: Components of an emulsifier system (often used in combination) that help to blend the oil and water phases, create a stable emulsion, and provide a light, non-greasy feel.
● Glyceryl Stearate and PEG-100 Stearate: A very common, non-ionic emulsifier and stabilizer blend that helps keep the formula smooth and prevents separation over time. Glyceryl Stearate also functions as an emollient.
● Myristyl Myristate and Isostearyl Isostearate: These are emollients (skin-conditioning agents) that soften and smooth the skin. They contribute to the NON GREASY FEEL and improve the spreadability of the sunblock.
● Jojoba oil: A natural emollient and skin conditioner whose structure is very similar to human sebum. It helps moisturize and soothe the skin without feeling heavy or clogging pores.
● Allantoin: A soothing and skin-conditioning agent. It helps to heal, calm irritation, and stimulate skin regeneration, offering a protective effect against potential skin stress.
● Tetrasodium EDTA: A chelating agent used to bind to metal ions in the water and other ingredients. This stabilizes the formula and prevents changes in texture, odor, or clarity over time.
● Hyaluronic Acid: A powerful humectant (moisture attractor). It draws and holds significant amounts of water on the skin's surface, providing intense hydration and helping to plump the skin.
● Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid derivative): A key antioxidant. It protects the skin from free radical damage caused by UV exposure, brightens the complexion, and supports collagen production.
● Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E): A primary antioxidant that works synergistically with Vitamin C. It conditions the skin, helps protect the formula's oils from rancidity (oxidation), and provides added anti-aging benefits.
● D-Panthenol (Provitamin B5): A moisturizing and soothing humectant. It penetrates the skin to hydrate, reduce inflammation, and improve skin barrier function.
● Phenoxyethanol and Sodium Benzoate: These are preservatives. They inhibit the growth of bacteria, yeast, and mold, ensuring the product remains safe, effective, and stable throughout its shelf life.

Directions

Fully cover all areas of exposed skin and don't forget the ears, neck, or the back of hands - often these are missed. Rather than squirting the sunscreen into your hand in one go, apply smaller, evenly-sized dots to ensure it spreads thoroughly and effectively. It should be reapplied every two hours, especially after swimming or sweating. Store below $30^\circ$ If rash occurs stop use and visit a physician.
